Have you recently had a baby and looking to return to exercise?
Our Baby & Me Reformer Pilates classes will help you to safely return to movement and exercise during your postpartum recovery period, whilst enjoying connecting with baby as you move. We welcome babies aged between 6 weeks to 8 months and not yet crawling.
Bring baby in a pram or carrier to sit next to you or to join you on the mat.
CLASSES
Our Baby & Me Reformer Pilates classes are limited to a maximum of 4 participants. Each group will have one session per week for a period of six-weeks.
There are two streams of Baby & Me Reformer Pilates classes. Both streams are led by our qualified pre/post-natal Pilates instructors, and are tailored to improve both strength and mobility. Classes will utilise Reformer beds, mats, thera-bands and Pilates circles.
No previous Reformer or Pilates experience is needed.
- STREAM 1 - Recommended for postpartum mums from 6 weeks (or 3 months following caesarean section birth). This stream involves Pilates exercises at a gentle pace to start or return to your fitness journey. Areas of focus include, but not limited to, pelvic floor and deep abdominal activation and strengthening, as well as improving posture.
- STREAM 2 - Recommended for postnatal mums from 16 weeks. This stream involves Pilates exercises gradually increasing in intensity, and working towards returning to previous activity levels. Areas of focus include, but not limited to, pelvic floor and deep abdominal activation and strengthening, improving posture and overall fitness.
Available class times will be:
- Tuesday 11:30am - 12:15pm
- Wednesday 12:30pm - 1:15pm
- Friday 8:30am - 9:15am

Participation in our Baby & Me Reformer Pilates six-week program includes:

COST
The cost for the Baby & Me Reformer Pilates program is $199. Payment is required up-front to secure your place in all six weeks, as spots are limited to a maximum of four (4) participants.
Please note that Baby & Me Reformer Pialtes classes cannot be claimed using any private health insurance rebate.
LOCATION & ACCESS
All sessions are held at Keilor East Leisure Centre, Quinn Grove, Keilor East.
Classes are held in the Wellness Studio located on the first floor of the facility. Lift access is available just past the kiosk. Upon entering the facility, turn right, go past the kiosk, and the lift is located on your left-hand side.
Keilor East Leisure Centre has accessible entrances to ensure pram access is available.
WHAT TO BRING
Prams, bouncers or carriers are welcome within the wellness studio for your Baby & Me Reformer Pilates classes. Please bring a blanket to lay over a mat, and any toys to occupy baby.
You should also bring a drink bottle / bottle of water to ensure you stay hydrated.
We also recommend bringing grip socks, but are not essential. We also have a selection of grip socks available for purchase at Reception.
PLEASE NOTE
The guidelines for returning to fitness participation can vary depending on your circumstances. We advise seeking medical clearance for exercise prior to attending class.
As places are strictly limited to a maximum of four (4) participants, bookings are essential.
HOW TO SIGN UP
Please click the button below, or visit https://forms.office.com/r/b7pXnhwmSp to fill out our online Expression of Interest (EOI) form. It's important to ensure that you complete the form in full, and that you provide correct contact details.
After we receive your expression of interest, our Pilates Coordinator will contact you to discuss the program and assist with any queries you may have. If you are offered a place in one of the classes, you will be asked to provide payment details. Once payment has been confirmed, you will receive a confirmation of your participation in the Baby & Me Reformer Pilates program, and the dates of your six weekly classes.
I ENJOYED MY FIRST BABY & ME REFORMER PILATES PROGRAM, CAN I SIGN UP AGAIN?
Absolutely. If you have already completed a program of six-weeks and would like to sign up again for the same stream, you'll be offered a spot in any session that has vacancy.
